Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has paid tribute to the late Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, following her passing on Thursday.
In a condolence message, Governor Ododo expressed his sorrow over the loss, acknowledging Mrs. Umo Eno's pivotal role in supporting her husband, Governor Umo Eno, in the governance of Akwa Ibom State.
He praised her dedication to various charitable causes, especially her initiatives that positively impacted women and vulnerable groups.
Governor Ododo prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Mrs Umo Eno and also prayed for God’s comfort for her immediate family and the people of Akwa Ibom State as they grieve over the loss.
The late Mrs Patience Umo Eno died on Thursday at the age of 57 after a brief illness.
