NAWOJ commiserates with Akwa Ibom

 






The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists,NAWOJ, FCT Chapter, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State.


In a statement signed on Friday in Abuja by Chairperson Bassey Ita Ikpang and Secretary Nkiruka Okeke, NAWOJ FCT extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Umo Eno, the entire family, and the people of Akwa Ibom State. 

The association recognized Mrs. Patience Umo Eno for her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of the less privileged and her numerous charitable works.


It's reads: “The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.


“We extend our sincere condolences to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, and the entire family during this heartbreaking moment.


“Mrs. Patience Umo Eno will always be remembered as a woman of faith, a dedicated social advocate, and a tireless champion for the welfare of others. Her commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged and her many charitable initiatives have left an indelible mark on the people of Akwa Ibom State.


“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Governor, his family, The NUJ family and NAWOJians in Akwaibom state , the Press Secretary our very own Uduak Ekong  and the people of Akwa Ibom State. We pray that God grants you all the  strength and comfort in this time of grief.


“May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
