The Centre for Disability and Inclusion Africa has launched a new service called DEIHUB to support the disability and inclusion sector in Africa.
The organisation said this in a statement by its Executive Director, Yinka Olaito, who explained that the service is aimed at helping organisations build inclusive workplaces that drive innovation and growth.
DEIHUB will provide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) advisory and consulting services, blending global best practices with African realities. The unit will deliver training, strategic advice, and culture transformation programmes tailored for organisations across the continent.
Olaito said the centre is focused on helping individuals and forward-looking organisations that prioritise inclusion but lack the technical expertise to achieve it. He added that disability inclusion remains a key development issue that cannot be ignored.
DEIHUB will offer services such as strategic DEI advisory for leadership teams, tailored training on issues like unconscious bias and inclusive leadership, and organisational culture transformation to help build policies and systems that promote sustainable growth.
The centre noted that the uniqueness of DEIHUB lies in its African context, evidence-based approach, and impact-driven model designed to deliver measurable and lastingchanges.
